I want absolutely nothing for myself!!! In fact my wife Shana, a.k.a. the SoupGirl, and I make a pact every year at Christmas. Instead of buying each other gifts, we take the money we would have spent and use it to buy gifts for the homeless.
So
while I want nothing for myself, I do have 500 close personal friends
that need Christmas gifts. I am referring to the 500 homeless men
&
women that the SoupMobile will be taking to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for
Christmas this year. These homeless people have virtually nothing. Most
of them carry everything they own in the backpacks they wear on their
backs.This Christmas I am asking you to give prayerful consideration to helping me give gifts to 500 of the ones Jesus called the 'least of these.' Below are the gifts we need. Perhaps you, your family, your church, your company or your organization can help us with some or all of these gifts.
2,000 years ago there was no 'Room at the Inn' for baby Jesus. This year at Christmas the SoupMobile will be making 'Room at the Inn' for 500 precious homeless people. Thank you for helping me give each and every one of these dearest children of the Lord Most High a Christmas of love and gifts.

For you or me, a backpack is no big deal. However, if you are homeless you literally carry everything you own on your back in a backpack. For a homeless man or woman, a backpack is absolutely vital. Please help the SoupMobile in obtaining 500 backpacks for Christmas.
