bullet August 2003The SoupMan (a.k.a, David Timothy) starts the SoupMobile with 'Soup 1' a 1985 Ford Econoline Van with more than 250,000 miles on it. 5,000 meals are served in our first year.

bullet 2004 – The SoupMobile serves more than 35,000 meals.

bullet December 2005 – The SoupTeam puts up 100 homeless men and women at the downtown Dallas Hyatt Regency Hotel for Christmas, in an event that is now known as 'Celebrate Jesus'.

bullet 2006More than 75,000 hot, nutritious meals are served to the homeless in Dallas by the SoupMan and his army of volunteers.

bullet 2008More than 125,000 meals served by the SoupMobile, thanks to partnerships with other agencies such as the North Texas Food Bank.

bullet October 2009SoupMobile Village Grand Opening! The first home (a men's group home) is opened with news cameras from WFAA Channel 8 and front page coverage in the Dallas Morning News.

bullet December 2009 – At the 5th Anniversary of the Celebrate Jesus event, 500 homeless men and women are treated to a MAGICAL Christmas. Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert serves as Chief server at the formal banquet (serving the homeless). Over 1,500 volunteers registered to help at this annual event.

bullet April 2010 – A Carrollton couple makes a donation to purchase our second SoupMobile Village home, a women's group home.

bullet July 2010Grand Opening of home #3 in SoupMobile Village - a family home!

bullet November 2010The SoupMan is named Executive Director of the Year by the Center for Nonprofit Management!

bullet December 2010Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert is Chief Maitre' D at the 6th Annual Celebrate Jesus event. 500 homeless guests are entertained by the world renowned Vocal Majority Chorus, as part of their night's stay at the downtown Dallas Hyatt Regency Hotel. December 24th is officially proclaimed “SoupMobile Day” in Dallas, TX.

bullet 2010 – With the help and support of our fabulous SoupTeam over 200,000 meals are served to the homeless on Dallas' South side.

bullet April 2011 – SoupMobile Village Homes 4 and 5 opened.
